Objectives:To analyze the risk factors for delayed gastric emptying afterpancreaticoduodenectomy, and to explore the preventive measures to reduce theincidence of delayed gastric emptying after pancreaticoduodenectomy.Methed:This analysis of85cases from2007to2012come into forcepancreaticoduodenectomy. Patients were divided into delayed gastric emptying groupand without delayed gastric emptying group. Chi-square test, Fisher’s test, Student’st-test were used to analyze the difference between the two groups and to understand thePostoperative gastric emptying dysfunction of Whipple operation deeply.Result:Univariate analysis showed the occurrence of delayed gastric emptyingafter pancreaticoduodenectomy associated with postoperative abdominal complications,and postoperative hypoalbuminemia.Conclusion:The occurrence of delayed gastric emptying afterpancreaticoduodenectomy is caused by many factors. Surgical trauma is the underlyingreason, intra-abdominal complications and postoperative hypoalbuminemia as therelated risk factors associated with delayed gastric emptying. The related risk factors toreduce the incidence of delayed gastric emptying after pancreaticoduodenectomyappropriate application of clinical interventions. Now the clinical treatment to delayedgastric emptying is still difficult, mostly time, we should take conservative measures.
