Objective:To observe the analgesic effects and clinical efficacy through the electroacupuncture and simple acupuncture intervention in radicular sciatica. Firstly, to observe the analgesic effect of electroacupuncture and simple acupuncture in radicular sciatica by Low back pain function score, McGill pain Scale and straight leg raising test and evaluation. Secondly, through the above mention scores, observe the clinical efficacy of two intervention methods were analyzed and find out the more effective treatment method for radicular sciatica.Method:In46cases of radicular sciatica patients in this study were randomly divided into EA group with simple acupuncture group, all23cases, choose the same two points, electro-acupuncture group selection ipsilateral lumbar Huatuojiaji, rank edge, ring jump, Yanglingquan give EA intervention, the use of medical equipment Komatsu Nanjing Institute XS-998B optical treatment, density waves, the intensity for the degree of patient tolerance and EA for30minutes. Acupuncture group after the gas needle for30minutes, during which every10min line pin1. Each course of treatment. Function assessment in low back pain, simplified McGill Pain Scale asked, straight leg raising test and clinical efficacy criteria such as the observed indicators, the results were before and after each treatment and analysis of the contrast between the two groups. Results:After a course of treatment, the result shows:①electroacupuncture group and simple acupuncture group, low back pain functional scores before and after treatment is statistically significant (P <0.05)②The two groups’ PRI, VAS scores before and after treatment is Statistically difference (P<0.05)③Straight leg raising test before and after treatmentbetween tow groups is also statistically significant (P <0.05)④electroacupuncture group and simple acupuncture group after treatment, low back pain functional scores is significantly different (P<0.05)⑤straight leg raising test after treatment between groups is significant difference (P<0.05)⑥in the clinical efficacy between two groups is no statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:whether electro-acupuncture treatment or simple acupuncture treatment for radicular sciatica have a significant effect, but in terms of low back pain functional scores and straight leg raising test, electro-acupuncture therapy is superior than simple acupuncture therapy. And electro-acupuncture therapy has a significant effect in improving the degree of pain and low back pain functional advantage than simple acupuncture treatment.
