With the development ofeconomic level and medical technology in recent years continue to improve, thematernal mortality rate declined, but still have a large distance compared withdeveloped western countries, thus reducing maternal mortality is still to improve thequality of work life of women in a long-term, arduous task. Through the summary,analysis of2006-2012Changchun City maternal mortality and the variation regularityand the cause of death distribution, further reduce the intervention strategies ofmaternal mortality, and provide reliable basis for health administrative departments atall levels to make the improvement of maternal health services policy.Methods：Investigation and Analysis on91cases of maternal death cases. In Changchun areamedical institutions of maternal mortality by maternal mortality, maternal and childhealth care institutions in the area where the responsible for reporting information,hospital maternal death scene investigation, copy a complete medical history, familysurvey and based on the investigation and medical records to fill in the maternalreport attached and investigation report, the death report cards, county (District) leveland maternal and Child Health Bureau health departments to organize experts into thediscussion of maternal death case20days (including the floating population), themain cause of death is clear, the difficult case couldn’t determine the cause of deathshould write that preliminary opinions and possible death, at any time to carry outevaluation study of maternal mortality, determine the cause of death, and to analyzethe variation rule of maternal mortality and death cause, effect factors, proposetargeted intervention measures, effectively reduce the maternal mortality rate.Results2006-2012Changchun City Maternal live births was389107cases, a total of91cases of maternal death. The average maternal mortality rate was23.39/10million, thematernal mortality rate dropped to10.9/10million million by24.09/10. Maternalmortality ratio in urban and rural areas of rural proportion has been great, every yearwere higher than those of the city. Changchun area of maternal deaths overalleconomic and cultural level is low, the illiteracy accounted for5.94%, junior highschool the following cultural accounted for73.62%, the average annual family incomebelow4000yuan accounted for69%. A ratio of83.33%2006direct obstetric causesof death, then decreased year by year, by the end of2012fell to28.57%, the death tolland indirect obstetrical causes increased year by year, the ratio was16.67%indirectobstetric causes of death in2006, by the end of2012increased to71.43%. Cause ofdeath is still the highest postpartum hemorrhage, accounts for18.68%of deaths,hypertensive disorders of pregnancy was second, accounts for12.09%of deaths,pregnancy and congenital heart disease in third, accounts for7.69%of deaths. Amniotic fluid embolism, pulmonary embolism, pneumonia tied for fourth place,respectively accounts for6.59%of deaths. Decreased year by year of maternal deathscan be avoided by2012, fell to80.33%in200628.57%.Conclusions1.2006-2012years of maternal mortality in Changchun area is lower than thenational average level of the same period.2. Changchun City maternal mortality although the overall downward fluctuation,but the maternal mortality ratio in urban and rural proportion has been great, everyyear are higher than the city of maternal deaths.3.the economic and cultural level of the maternal mortality is low, the main factorsaffecting the lethal knowledge and skills for personal, family, community residents.The main causes of maternal death in.4.is still the direct obstetrical causes of postpartum hemorrhage, but indirectobstetric causes shows a rising trend year by year in the cause of maternal death in thecause of death, pregnancy complicated with congenital heart disease has become themain indirect obstetric causes of death. Because of cesarean section delivery modeincreased year by year, leading to postoperative pulmonary embolism caused byincreasing.Constitution ratio of reduction in the year5.can avoid the maternal death.
