Objective:To discuss the efficiency on the treatment of promoting gas and invigorate the circulation of blood against Crohn’s disease of gas and blood blocking. Methods:Separate the patients of Crohn’s disease of Qi stagnation type into two groups. observation group and the control group,10cases in each group. The control group was treated with methylprednisolone tablet remission after tapering plus azathioprine orally, the observation group was treated by means of Chinese traditional treatment (promoting gas and invigorate the circulation of blood) more than the control group. All the patients were followed for six months, compared by the clinical efficacy, changes in immune function and adverse reactions. Results:(1) Clinical manifestations:the clinical symptoms of abdominal mass, diarrhea and extraintestinal manifestations were significantly improved in the observation group compared with the control group treated by tree and six months.(2) laboratory tests:C-Reactive protein, CRP, Erythrocyte sedimentation rateESR level decreased significantly statistically in the observation group than the control group.(3)) Harvey-Bradshow Crohn’s disease Activity indexCDAI decreased significantly in the observation group than the control group., the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p<0.05).(4) endoscopic intestinal inflammation and pathological changes:Intestinal mucosal healing rate was higher in the treatment group than the control group after six months’ treatment. Conclusion:Through the current study, it shows that treatment by medicine and Chinese traditional treatment (promoting gas and invigorate the circulation of blood) in patients of Crohn’s disease were more effective than that by medicine alone, with no significant adverse reactions occurring.
