Purpose:To evaluate the feasibility of arc surrounding lamellar keratoplasty andcomparison of arc surrounding lamellar keratoplasty and traditional tongue peripherallamellar keratoplasty in and advantages and disadvantages in the treatment ofrecurrent pterygium. Methods:The records of39patients(40eyes) with recurrent pterygium in ourhospital from January2011to January2012,divided into two groups byrandomized controlled design. The patients in Group A treated with arc surroundinglamellar keratoplasty. The patients in Group B treated with traditional tongueperipheral lamellar keratoplasty. In preoperative, after surgery1,3,7, l4,30,90,120and360days,to check up, to collect and analysis data. Results:Both of the groups have no recurrence in one year.We focus on the slitlamp were observed corneal edema and transparency, conjunctival reconstruction, aftersurgery we found group B recovered quickly than group A.And one month aftersurgery, both of the groups are growth well. There is no new vessel in corneal.Thecorneal epithelial of group A repair and growth faster than group B.IncludingBUT,Schirmer test and the feeling of the patient after surgery have no differencebetween the two groups. After surgery, the vision of the patient is mutative.Long-termeffects in vision, group A is better than group B.In this experiment, the corneal donoris periphery corneal material, which improve the utilization of donor cornea greatly. Conclusions:Arc surrounding lamellar keratoplasty is a feasible surgicalapproach in the treatment of recurrent pterygium; It has low recurrence rate, bettervision and make full use of corneal donor material. |
