Objective: The changing structure of our resident nutrition caused thehigh incidence of gastrointestinal diseases, such as colon cancer, which’smortality rate is often among the highest ones. Early detection is particularlyimportant, which can significantly improve the quality of life and the prognosisof patients. The high incidence of colorectal adenomas in the general populationmakes it more likely to develop into colon cancer if not timely processed. Sothe popularization of colonic disease screening is essential for the earlydetection of colon diseases. Electronic colonoscopy (EC) is the primary meansto exam the colon, as it can carry out a biopsy, and resection precancerouslesions and effectively reduce the incidence of the colon diseases. But thedrawback is that the patients in the operation will feel various discomforts, evenunbearable. Although there are painless colonoscopy expanded, the risk andcontraindications of anesthesia, together with the danger of operation underanesthesia caused many restrictions. The invention of capsule endoscopy (CE)brought gospel for patients with small intestinal diseases, and graduallyoccupied the dominance in diagnosing the diseases of the small intestine.Capsule endoscopy is also in development in non-small intestine digestive tract.The Israel Given company produced a capsule endoscopy (PillCamTM)dedicated to colonoscopy colon. It can be used in patients who can not toleratea colonoscopy or have anesthesia contraindications. Preliminary results showeda higher rate of diagnosis of large polyps and other colonic diseases, it can beused as a screening tool for related diseases. In Israel and other countries it hasbeen legally used for clinical, but the FDA has not yet agreed the listing and thedomestic reports of colon capsule endoscopy are also rare. There are a lot ofsimilarities in all respects between colon capsule endoscopy and small bowelcapsule endoscopy. Small bowel capsule endoscopy is widely used in ourcountry and we accumulated rich experiences. If we can use a variety of methods to achieve the detection of colon by small bowel capsule endoscopy,the application of capsule endoscopy will be further developed. The purpose ofthis study is to use conventional bowel preparation adding oral drugs forcolonic motility stimulation and the methods of improving the colon operationcompletion rate to discuss the solution of the completion of the entire coloncapsule endoscopy (omom capsule endoscopy), and adding more motivationfor the broad prospects for clinical application of capsule endoscopy ingastrointestinal examination.Methods:92patients were selected and divided into two groups by thechecking number. Group1is odd array (control group)(n=46), group2isdipole array (experimental group)(n=46). The control group used theconventional method of capsule endoscopy and the experimental group atecolonic motility stimulant drugs and changed position after the capsule enterinto the colon at the same time of conventional preparation. The completionrate of capsule in colon operation is judged as valid and invalid; image qualitywas determined as clear, less clear and not clear. Finally, we selected11patientsin control group and11patinents in the experimental group, total22patientswho had positive colon lesions before capsule endoscopy to observe the level ofcolon disease detection rate in the two groups. We sumed up theabove data for statistical analysis.Results: The passage efficiency is higher in experimental group than incontrol group. The image quality in experimental group, clear and less clearrate, is higher than in the control group, while the poor visibility is less than thecontrol group. Lesion detection rate of the experimental group was higher, andthe differences are statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion: This study confirmed stimulate colonic motility drugs inconventional bowel preparation plus service and timely changes in position canimprove the ordinary capsule endoscopy colonoscopy run completion rate and improve the quality of colon picture, disease detection rate has increased, and isexpected to become another colonoscopy, can increase outlook of theapplication of capsule endoscopy in the entire gastrointestinal tract.
