It’s well-know the fact that a certain of theanemia caused by VAD. Our previous studies suggest that the mechanismsof VAD-related anemia include impaired hematopoietic inductivemicroenvironment, immaturity of N-linked glycopeptides of the surface oferythroid progenitor cells(EPC), accumulation of stored iron and decrease oferythropoietin(EPO), etc. This review attempts to summarize the mainfindings of our previous researches and suggests directions for futureresearch.
