Objactive To quantitatively evaluate the diagnostic value of combinationserum CA125、HE4and ROMA in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC)by MetaAnalysis.Method we systematically searched for relevant studies abouttesting serum CA125and HE4content in patient with pelvic mass publishedbetween January2009and January2013was using the Pubmed,Embase,China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI),VIP andWANFANG databases. All articles have Risk for Ovarian MalignancyAlgorithm (ROMA) based on the serum CA125and HE4. Two reviewersindependently assessed the methodological quality of each study byQUADAS (Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies) and gotthe data from each study.Statistical analysis was performed employingMeta-Disc1.4.A Meta Analysis about sensitivity, specificity, DOR(diagnostic odds ratio), positive and negative likelihood ratio andsummary Receiver Operating Characteristic (SROC) curve. Results Dataof4847tests were retrieved from16studies.The overall diagnostic value ofROMA for EOC:AUC=0.9084±0.0114,Q index=0.8382±0.0124, agentia source is the cause of heterogeneity by meta regression analysis. The value ofHE4for EOC:AUC=0.8645±0.0206,Qindex0.7951±0.0201,symple size isthe cause of heterogeneity; The value of CA125for EOC isAUC=0.8388±0.0165with Q index=0.7707±0.0153.Conclusion TheROMA has the relatiive high AUC and Q index for diagnosing epithelialovarian cancer and early stage(FIGOI-II). agentia source、test method andsymple size are the main cause of heterogeneity.
