Curmin was a kind ofβdiketone compound which had excellent optical property,and could be a metal ligand. The β-diketone complexes had found many applicationsin luminescent,ctalysis and biomedicine and so on.Four curcumin derivative ligands (L1-L4) and three metal complexes (CuL21, CuL22,Eu(NO32(H2O)2L1) were synthesized used by curcumin and metal salts asmaterial.These compouds were characterized by IR, NMR, MS and single crystalX-raydiffraction analysis.At some time, their optical properties were tested by UV-visble absorption spectroscopy,single photon fluorescence spectroscopy and twophoton fluorescence spectroscopy.The biological fluorescent image of MGC803celllabeled with the compouds L1,CuL21and Eu(NO32(H2O)2L1were investigated. Theresearch was introduced as follows:1. Four curcumin derivative ligands and three metal complexes were designed andsynthesized. Their struetures were charaeterized by infrared speetroseopy, NMRspeetroseopy and MS. Four ligands crystals and two complexes cystals had beencultured, we knew L1, L2, L3were exist on enol form and had good planarity, but theconjugated carbon chain of L4was damanged,so its planarity was poor. From thecrystal structure of complexes,we knew CuL21and CuL22was centered by copperion,becoming a planar structure with four oxygen of two β-diketone.2.Their optical properties were tested by UV-visible absorption spectrocopy,single-photon fluorescence spectroscopy and two-photon fluorescence spectroscopy,which laid the foundation for the synthesis and applieation of curcumin complexes. Theresearch had shown that the single-photon fluorescence of complexes were better thanthe ligands,while the two-photon fluorescence of liands had distinct advantage.3. Live cell imaging results showed these kind of compounds were pervious for thecell,and evenly distributed throughout the cytosol.
