Objective Arrhythmia is one of the most serious diseases in the cardiovascular systemand the main causes of sudden cardiac death in human. Gegenqinlian which has goodtreatment effects on therapeutic effect of arrhythmia is one of the well-knownprescriptions from Zhang Zhongjing. The experiments by ligating the left of anteriordescending artery to lead myocardial and usingischemia-reperfusion into arrhythmia inorder to observe the mechanism of action of Gegenqinlian for cardiac arrhythmiasdisease.Methods The normal SD rats were divided into6different groups randomly afterfeeding with daptive breeding for one week: sham surgery group(equal volume ofdistilled water)、model group(equal volume of distilled water)、the feeding withwenxinkeli group(2.43g kg-1)and being offered with high, medium and low dose ofGegenqinlian groups(8.64,4.32g,2.16g kg-1).Together feeding with continuousadministration for7ds,the surplus rats were myocardial ischemia with inducedarrhythmia by reperfusion after being ligated the left anterior descending coronaryartery (LAD),in order to establish experimental models but except the normalgroup.The cumulative remaining Works were,①monitoring limb lead IIelectrocardiogram (ECG), observing the incidence of premature ventricular contractions(VP), ventricular tachycardia (VT), ventricular fibrillation (VF) and the morphologicalchanges of myocardial tissues. measureing the rate of myocardial infarction and activityof Na+-K+-ATP enzyme (Na+-K+-ATPase), Ca2+-ATP enzyme (Ca2+-ATPase)②detecting the percent of serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and Cx43in themyocardial tissues and LDH, CK in the serum.Results After feeding with continuous administration7d, the ECG ST-segmentelevation, the VT, VP, VF of experiment rats were induced significantly and the occurrence regions of the myocardial infarctionin were narrowed effectively in theGegenqinlian groups which being caused myocardial ischemia by coronary ligation andreperfusion. The enzymes indicators and the activity of Na+-K+-ATPase, Ca2+-ATPasewere improved but the percent of LDH, CK were cutted down in the Serum frommyocardial tissue in myocardial rats. Gegenqinlian was effective in the changs ofmyocardial tissues on the pathology and decreaseing the serum TNF-α levels in modelgroups, leading into elevating the expression of Cx43from myocardial tissue.Conclusion①Gegenqinlian can inhibit the incidence of VT, VP, VF and improvethose cardiac enzymes indicators of coronary artery ligation-induced myocardialischemia-reperfusion model rats;②Gegenqinlian was also effective in antiarrhythmictherapy by elevating the expression of Cx43and changing the myocardial tissues on thepathology.
