Objective:To study the effects of UCP-1and UCP-2gene polymorphism of patients shivering after cesarean section under CSEA and to explore the rick factors for shivering in patients who had cesarean section. Methods:Two hundred cases of obstetric patients who had CSEA anesthesia for cesarean section were observed. The patients’vital signs were recorded during anesthesia, as well as the possible risk factors that may cause shivering. All patients with UCP-1promoter gene-3826AG and UCP-2promoter gene-866AG were genotyped by polymerase chain reaction-Restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis.Results:1. Mean arterial pressure decreased5min and l0min after anesthesia significantly (P<0.05); There was70.5%incidence of cesarean section maternal perioperative hypotension and29.5%non-hypotensives; cesarean section maternal perioperative shivering was66.5%, ranging from grade2-5, accounting for11.2%,7.5%,30.8%,50.5%respectively. Some patients Body mass index within the third trimester of pregnancy was greater than25and others less than25and shivering impact between the two was not statistically significant (P=0.383>0.05); shivering incidence in emergency cesarean was84.6%, non-emergency cesarean shivering was60%, between the two statistical difference (P=0.002<0.05); under ambient temperature of23℃in operating room, shivering incidence was83.6%, and above23℃, shivering incidence was61.4%, between the two was a statistically significant difference (P=0.009<0.05).2. UCP-1promoter gene-3826AA type,-3826AG type, and-3826GG type in this group of patients accounted for45.5%,40%and 18.5%, perioperative incidence of shivering were62.7%,72.5%and62.2%three statistical difference (P=0.361>0.05); UCP-2promoter gene-866AA type,-866AG type and-866GG type accounted for30.5%,51.5%and18%, shivering rates were73.8%,72.5%and47.2%, respectively, three statistical difference(P=0.024<0.05). Anesthetic block plane, hypotension and surgery duration of shivering was not statistically significant. Conclusion: Ambient temperature is an important risk factor on perioperative shivering in patients who had cesarean section. The incidence of perioperative shivering in UCP-2promoter gene-866GG type patients with cesarean section was lower than that in UCP2-816AA and UCP-2866AG genotype patients. The mutation of UCP-2-866A-G has a beneficial role in remittance of perioperative shivering in patients who had cesarean section...
