Purpose:The aim of this thesis is to study the clinical efficacy of a history of open nephrolithotomy to percutaneous nephrolithotomyInformation and Methods:According to the information of155patients underwent PCNL at our institution from October2010to November2012, we compared the patients who had had previous open surgery on the same kidney (n=72) with those who had had no previous surgery (n=83) to find out that if the two groups have differences in the amount of intraoperative bleeding, postoperative complications, stone-free rate and hospital stay during the one-stage operation. Results:There are72patients are included in the first group, during the one-stage operation, its stone-free rate is69.4%with an average operation time of2.2±1.0hours, and the intraoperative bleeding volume was152.6±75.9ml. During the postoperative stage,8patients got infection and9bleeding, then they are cured through symptomatic treatment. The second group is consisted of83patients with a stone-free rate of68.1%, and its average operation time is2.1±0.8hours and the intraoperative bleeding volume was103.3±58.7ml. During the postoperative stage,10patients got infection and11bleeding, and then they are cured through symptomatic treatment. Conclusion:To those patients with Open Nephrolithotomy history, they are more likely to have a lager amount of bleeding during and after operation compared to those who have no previous surgery history, but there’s no obvious differences in stone-free rate, operation time and hospital stay at one-stage operation.
