Objective:Investigate the hemodynamics in patients with Thyroid-associated Ophthalmopathy(TAO) before and after the treatmentMethods:20cases with TAO before and after the effective treatment were detected with color Doppler. Then the hemodynamic parameters of the arteria ophthalmica(OA) and arteria centralis retinae (CRA)were measured.Results:(1) Before treatment:the maximal blood flow velocity(Vmax) of the OA was43.77±9.55(cm/s),the minimum blood flow velocity(Vmin) of the OA was12.45±3.66(cm/s); The Vmax of the CRA was11.77±2.15(cm/s),the Vmin of the CRA was5.74±0.84(cm/s).Compared with the Normal team, the Vmax and the Vmin were both increasing(P<0.05),there were significantly difference. The resistance index(RI) of the OA was0.71±0.06,the RI of the CRA was0.70±0.08. Compared with the Normal team, there were no significantly difference (P>0.05)(2)After effective treatment:the OA of the Vmax was34.65±4.50(cm/s), the Vmin of the OA was3.74±0.57(cm/s); The Vmax of the CRA was11.19±2.26(cm/s), the Vmin of the CRA was 3.74±0.58(cm/s). Compared with before-treatment team, the Vmax and the Vmin were both decreasing(P<0.05), there were significantly difference.(3) After effective treatment, the compared with the Normal team, for the Vmax、Vmin and the RI of OA, there were no significantly difference (P>0.05);for the Vmax and Vmin of CRA, there were significantly difference(P<0.05);for the RI of the CRA, there were no significantly difference (P>0.05)Conclution:The blood flow velocity of OA and CRA increase in TAO patients, and they partly recover after effective treatment.
