Objective: Explore the correlation of CT and pathology in origin site of non-smallcell lung cancer, offer the basis for delineating target area. Methods: Selected31patients with NSCLC hospitalized in the Department ofthoracic surgery of parallel operation of the Second Affiliated Hospital of DalianMedical University from December1,2012to February20,2013,including9squamouscell carcinoma cases (29%), adenocarcinoma in22(71%) cases. Measured and recordedthe major and short diameter of each tumor during preoperative CT, intraoperative andpostoperative pathological. The samples of preoperative and intraoperative, preoperativeand postoperative were carried on the related coefficient analysis and paired T test.Calculation of the average difference between values of samples,95%confidenceinterval and correlation coefficient.Results:1. Long diameter of CT less than intraoperation in SCC, the difference wasstatistically siginificant(p<0.05), intraoperative increased as compared with before0.32cm, the major diameter of SCC should expand0.43cm that preoperative to includeexpanding the scope of the operation95%; The major diameter of CT less thanintraoperation in adenocarcinoma, the difference was statistically siginificant(p<0.05),intraoperative increased as compared with before0.40cm, the major diameter ofadenocarcinoma should expand0.67cm that preoperative to include expanding thescope of the operation95%.2. The CT’s long diameter was larger than pathology in SCC which the differencewas statistically siginificant(p<0.05),and the pathology’s long diameter shrink0.47cmbefore operative; Also CT’s long diameter was larger than pathology in SCC which thedifference was statistically siginificant(p<0.05), and the pathology’s long diametershrink0.75cm before operative; 3. Short diameter of CT less than intraoperative in SCC, the difference wasstatistically siginificant(p<0.05), intraoperative increased as compared with before0.21cm, the short diameter of SCC should expand0.27cm that preoperative to includeexpanding the scope of the operation95%; The short diameter of CT less thanintraoperation in adenocarcinoma, the difference was statistically siginificant(p<0.05),intraoperative increased as compared with before0.36cm, the major diameter ofadenocarcinoma should expand0.34cm that preoperative to include expanding thescope of the operation95%.4. CT’s short diameter was larger than pathology in SCC which the difference wasstatistically siginificant(p<0.05),and the pathology’s long diameter shrink0.21cmbefore operative; Also CT’s short diameter was larger than pathology in SCC which thedifference was statistically siginificant(p<0.05), and the pathology’s long diametershrink0.47cm before operative;5. The correlation between preoperative, intraoperative and pathology wassignificant in long diameter(p<0.05), preoperative and intraoperative length correlationof γ=0.86751, preoperative and pathology length correlation of γ=0.43214, thecorrelation between preoperative and intraoperative was significantlly larger thanpreoperative and pathology. The correlation between preoperative, intraoperative andpathology was significant in short diameter(p<0.05), preoperative and intraoperativelength correlation of γ=0.89217, preoperative and pathology length correlation of γ=0.53404, the correlation between preoperative and intraoperative was significantllylarger than preoperative and pathology.Conclusion:1. In NSCLC,the major and short diameter of SCC and adenocarcinoma inpreoperation was larger than CT;2. In NSCLC,the major and short diameter of SCC and adenocarcinoma wassignificantlly difference in NSCLC which the value of adenocarcinoma was larger thanSCC.3. CT-GTV should include the actual GTV95%, squamous cell carcinoma andadenocarcinoma aspect respectively.0.43cm,0.67cm; About short diameter, squamouscell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma at least to extend0.27cm,0.34cm.
