| Aim:Observe the clinical effect of Yiqi Huoxue Decoction in the treatment of peptic ulcer and the effect on the regulation of VIP in the lesion mucosa. Explore the possible mechanisms of Yiqi-huoxue formula on the treatment of peptic ulcer through adjusting the expression of gastric mucosa VIP.Methods:With the principles of randomized,30cases of peptic ulcer patients are divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group(15cases) are treated with Yiqi-huoxue Formula and omeprazole, the control group(15cases) are treated with omeprazole only.Take four weeks for a course of treatment. Before and after treatment, the patients were observed clinical symptoms and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). We detected the expression of VIP in mucosa of all the cases before and after treatment.Results:After the treatment, the expressions of VIP in the treatment group are higher than that before treatment, the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05). And VIP of the treatment group increase more significantly than which in the control group, the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05). Analysis of the total accumulated scores of TCM symptoms:the total accumulated scores of symptoms and signs after treatment in the treatment group has a more significant reduction than that before treatment, the difference has meaning in the statistics(P<0.05), compared with the control group are significantly lower, and the difference also has meaning in the statistics(P<0.05).Conclusion: Yiqi-huoxue Formula may improve the microcirculation of mucosa by increasing the VIP expression levels, and significantly improve the symptoms of patients with peptic ulcer, VIP may be one of the mechanism of Yiqi-huoxue Formula in treating peptic ulcer. |
