BackgroundHDL particles possess the activity of atherosclerosis, recent years studiesshows plasma HDL particles are highly heterogeneous in their physicochemicalproperties, metabolism, and biological activity. The antiatherogenic propertiesof HDL can, however be compromised in metabolic diseases associated withaccelerated atherosclerosis. Most studies have shown that moderate intensityexercise can significantly reduce the happening of the MS.HDL-based therapieshave long been focused on increasing the plasma HDL cholesterol levels.Inrecent years, attention has expanded to how different therapeutic strategies affectHDL function, which might be as important as,or even more relevant than, theHDL cholesterol levels in modifying cardiovascular risk.ObjectiveStudy the change of HDL anti-inflammatory function of the Metabolicsyndrome (Metabolic syndrome, MS) patients after10weeks exercise。Methods1.Screening patients with metabolic syndrome and exercise intervention: Inaccordance with the unified standards promulgated by the international diabetesfederation (IDF),we choosed39patients with metabolic syndrome, accordingto the principle of voluntariness divided into exercise group (27people) and thecontrol group (12people). Sports group adopted go run alternate exercise10weeks, while control group did not change the original way of life. 2.Blood lipid test: Collected fasting venous blood before and after exercise10weeks, and tested total Cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), HDL-CandLow density lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C) and blood glucose.3.Peripheral arterial sclerosis monitoring: Detected the pulse waveconduction velocity before exercise and after10weeks exercise by omronatherosclerosis detector.4.Oxidation resistance detection of blood: Detected HDL antioxidantfunction by detecting serum Super Oxygen Dehydrogenises(SOD), Malondialde-hyde(MDA) and Paraoxonase1(PON-1) activity.5.Detection of Anti-inflammatory effect of HDL3cell in vitro experiments:HDL3was seperated by utracentrifugation, pretreated cells, and injuried cellswiht tumor necrosis factor (TNF alpha), MTT method to detect the cell vitality, observation of monocyte adhesion situation, ELISA detection in cell cultures ofmonocyte chemotactic protein (MCP-1) and nitric oxide (NO) content andWestern blot detection of vascular cell adhesion molecule1(VCAM-1) andnitric oxide synthase (eNOS) expression.Results1.Clinical indicators: Before the trial groups of the metabolic syndromepatients’ age, weight, blood pressure, serum lipid, and various indexes is nostatistical difference;After10weeks exercise, the indexes beween these twogroup also had no obvious change;in the exercise group, weight reduced afterexercise, HDL-C increase significantly after exercise, and were statisticallysignificant, and other indicators were changed, but no statistical difference;thecontrol group before and after the experiment comparison: each index was nostatistical difference.2. anti-inflammatory properties of blood: After exercise10weeks, exercisegroups MDA content (4.06±1.06) nmol/l significantly decreased than MDAcontent(7.84±2.14) nmol/l before exercise, and there was statistical significance(P<0.01);after exercise,Contents of SOD of exercise group increased butwithout statistical significance, and HDL3PON-1activity (9.9±3.8) KU/Lobviously improved compared with PON-1activity(2.4±0.57) KU/L beforeexercise, with statistical difference (P<0.05),after exercise, improve HDLantioxidant function. These suggest HDL antioxidant function improved after10weeks exercise. 3.HDL3anti-inflammatory function: MTT elevated in the experimentalgroup after10weeks of exercise, post exercise than pre-exercise increased by22.5%; monocyte adhesion reduced after exercise, a33.8%reduction comparedto the pre-exercise,MCP-1and VCAM-1expression were reduced by37%and15.4%,respectively,compared with the pre-exercise; The expression of eNOSincreased, increased by64%compared with the pre-exercise,these resultsshowed experimental group of HDL after exercise could enhance the vitality ofcells, reduced monocyte adhesion, decreased expression of MCP-1and VCAM-1,increased the expression of eNOS and the content of NO,reduced TNF-a damage, and raised HDL anti-inflammatory function.Conclusions1.walk run exercise could improve HDL antioxidant function in patientswith metabolic syndrome.2.walk run exercise could improve HDL anti-inflammatory function inpatients with metabolic syndrome.
