Abstract/Summary:
Objective Traditional Chinese herbology Eupatorium lindleyanum DC. Has adiversity structures of chemical constituents, and it’s a important biological resourceswhich contains a variety of biological activity. In this paper, to search for chemicalcomponents with structural diversity from Eupatorium lindleyanum DC. to supplymore candidate compounds for pharmacological activity screen. MethodsCompounds were isolated by repeated chromatography on reversed-phase columnsMCI gel columns, normal-phase Silica gel columns, Sephadex LH-20columnm, highperformance liquid preparation technique, etc. The structures were elucidated on thebasis of extensive spectroscopic analysis (1D-NMR,2D-NMR, LC-ESIMS, HPLC,X-ray scattering techniques) and by comparison of the data with those reported datain the literature. Results separated40compounds, which include19new compounds,and1novel skleton.Some of the compounds were evaluated for the activity of promote nerve cellgrowth, Anti-tumor, immunosuppressive, anti-virus, inhibition of PTP1B and inhi-bitory PCSK-9, the result didn’t show a good acticity data.
