Aim: In china, the best therapeutic schedule for non-serious Portal hypertensionpatients with Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is still far from being established, tofuture clarify the post-operative prognostic relevance of non-serious Portalhypertension in cirrhotic patients with HCC, to Study of hepatic resection operationtreatment efficacy, feasibility, indications and operation period note in those patients,in order to select the most suitable method for these patients. Methods: A total of182cirrhotic patients who underwent curative resection ofHCC were eligible for this analysis. Patients were divided into two groups: PHTgroup (n=91) and non-PHT group (n=91). The short-and long-term outcomes ofthese patients were analysed retrospectively.Result:Patients with portal hypertension had worse preoperative Albumin, longer Prothrombin Time, higher Total bilirubin, and smaller tumor size. Patientswith portal hypertension had higher Liver-related morbidity (26.37%VS8.79%P=0.002), but operative liver failure (6.59%VS2.20%P=0.278), operative uppergastrointestinal hemorrhage(3.3%vs0%P=0.246), the3-year,5-year overallsurvival rate was similar (56.3%VS56.8%P=0.832;31.5%VS32.7%P=0.919).Multivariate analysis identified that tumor diameter>10cm, vascular invasion andAFP>400ng/ml were as independent predicting factors for survival. Conclusion: Short-and long-term outcomes of hepatic resection in HCCpatients with and without Portal hypertension are similar, non-serious PHT patientswith HCC just receive liver resection could obtain nice outcomes.
