Objective:This study was retrospective analysis to investigate the correlation betweenTCM syndrome type and bronchiectasis pathogens of the acute aggravating period, and itsclinical significance, and to summarize the law of syndrome differentiation of TCM and theclinical characteristics to provide an objective basis for the standardized study. So as to guidethe scientific treatment of Chinese medicine to improve the clinical efficacy. Methods: On75samples of bronchiectasis in acute exacerbation of sputum culturepositive cases were retrospectively analyzed, access to medical records of patients, patientswith sex, age, previous diseases, sputum smear, sputum culture results, imaging and clinicalsymptoms, tongue, pulse and other signs of statistics and analysis.Using SPSS17.0statisticalsoftware package to establish a database for data analysis, part count data by X2test, Fisherexact probability method.Conclusion:1. Bronchiectasis with infections in acute exacerbations were the most commongram-negative bacilli, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa (30.38%), Klebsiella pneumoniae(12.66%), Bauman (10.33%), Acinetobacter, Enterobacter spp.(5.06%); gram positive cocciaccounted for12.66%, fungi accounted for18.99%.2. TCM syndrome type bronchiectasis is divided into four types, followed byphlegm-heat obstructing lung type (36%), both qi and yin deficiency type (25.33%), liver-fireattacking lung type (20%), Qi deficiency and blood stasis type (18.67%), among them withphlegm-heat obstructing lung type accounted for the largest proportion, suggesting theimportance of phlegm-heat the pathological factors in the pathogenesis Bronchiectasis.3. Studies have shown that bronchiectasis patients during acute exacerbation inparticular to a maximum of infection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, TCM syndrome type in phlegm-heat obstructing lung type, the imaging features shown as cystic expansion, considering the intrinsic heat and phlegm formation and bronchiectasis lesions of breeding, growth for Pseudomonas aeruginosa has certain relation.4. Fungi have become bronchiectasis pathogen of acute exacerbation, and oftencomplicated with bacterial infection in the elderly, longer course of disease, patients withmore common, TCM syndrome type found in both qi and Yin deficiency type, consideringdamage easily lead to decrease of immunity of the organism, the defense function decline, clinical vigilance fungal infection.
