Research Progress Of Radiation-induced Pulmonary Damage

Objective: This article aims at making the medical workers,especially professional physicians in oncology to understandradiation-induced pulmonary damage more deeply,so as to guide clinicalwork, reduce the incidence of radiation-induced pulmonary damage.Methods: By means of referring to the related literature at home andabroad,we collect the following information:the mechanism ofradiation-induced pulmonary damage,staging,influencingfactors,predictors,classification, clinical manifestations,imagingfindings,differential diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment,progress,nursingcare,misunderstanding,challenges and prospects.Results: The mechanism of radiation-induced pulmonary damage iscomplex,in which there are a variety of cells and cytokines involved, at thesame time it is affected by heredity, immunity.Prevention is more importantthan treatment, so we emphasis on early detection and early treatment.Conclusion: Radiation-induced pulmonary damage needs more furtherstudies.
