0bjective To observe the clinical effect of trastal combined withfastigial nucleus stimulation in acute cerebral infarction patients with Coma.Methods90patients with coma were randomly divided into3groups:the control group1, the control group2, and the treatment group, each groupwere30cases. The control group1were only treated with routinetreatment. The control group2were received routine treatment plus FNS.The treatment group were treated with trastal plus FNS on the basis ofroutine treatment. The therapeutic efficacy were evaluated by GCS andNIHSS.21days as a theraptutic course in these3groups.Results After7days, the three groups respectivly had clinicalimprovement compared with the baseline levels, but the GCS and NIHSSscore was no significant difference (P>0.05).14days and21days later, theaverage GCS and NIHSS in these3groups were significantly improved (P<0.05), and the GCS and NIHSS scores of the treatment group wassignificantly better than the control group1(P <0.01). Even thoughcompared with the control group2, the GCS and NIHSS score of treatmentgroup were improving (after14d、21days, the GCS score of the treatment group were higher and the NIHSS scores were lower than control group2),but the statistical analysis was no significant difference (P>0.05). After21days of treatment, we evaluated the clinical efficacy of these three groups, itdisplayed that the patients with light and moderate degree of coma were aptto wake up, but the deep degree were almost completely ineffective. Theoverall effective rates in the treatment group、the control group1and controlgroup2were93.3%、73.3%and86.7%.Conclusion Based on the conventional treatment of acute cerebralinfarction patients with Coma, the simple addition of FNS therapy also canimprove the GCS and NIHSS score, but there was no significant statisticdifference. While the trastal combined with FNS can significantly improvemild to moderate cerebral infarction coma patient’s state of consciousnessand neurological function deficit symptoms.
