Analysis Of12Cases Of Early Death In Acute Leukemia In Children

PurposeBased on12cases of early deaths in children with acute leukemiawere retrospectively analyzed, and characteristics of high risk clinicalfactors of early death in acute leukemia in children. To provide referencefor clinical treatment of children with leukemia.MethodsFrom2008.4to2013.2in our hospital diagnosed leukemia,12casesof children with acute leukemia cases method had not yet receivedchemotherapy and early death of regression analysis with related factors,from the aspects of clinical symptoms, signs, laboratory examination, bonemarrow MICM types and causes of death were analyzed retrospectively.ResultsFound12cases of children with major cause of early death wereintracranial hemorrhage and multiple organ failure. Early death in6cases(50%) of the patients with hyperleukocytosis,8cases (66.7%) withinfection,8cases (66.7%) had bleeding in different parts,8cases (66.7%)had splenomegaly, platelet count <100×109/L in9cases (75%), hemoglobin of less than110g/L in9cases (75%),12cases of liver damage(100%), renal damage in3cases (25%),12cases of abnormal coagulation(100%),8cases of MICM type, of which5cases, acute lymphoblasticM3b1cases, B1cases,1cases of cml. The causes of death of6patientsdied of cerebral hernia caused by intracranial hemorrhage,5case died ofrespiratory failure,1cases died of pulmonary hemorrhage. In with in moreabnormal incidence was significantly higher than the high cell group withhigh white blood cell.ConclusionChildren’s early death in acute leukemia is closely related withhyperleukocytosis, infection, hemorrhage, and these factors also can causeand aggravate the occurrence of multiple organ failure, intracranialhemorrhage and cerebral hernia. Therefore, the effective control of theserisk factors, provide opportunities for further chemotherapy, is expected toimprove the prognosis.
