Objective: explore the possible involvement of ang-1and ang-2inlipopolysaccharide-induced rat pulmonary inflammatory response in acutelung injury and study on the mechanism of action and interventionmechanism of radix salviae miltiorrhizae on it. Method: we selected36maleSD rats (clean conventional rats),then have built three groups.①Normalcontrol group12rats: the group was given the same amount of normal salinefrom the tail vein;②LPS group12rats: the group was given the LPS5mg/kg from the tail vein;③radix salviae miltiorrhizae group12rats:thegroup was given the LPS5mg/kg from the tail vein, one hours later the groupwas received injection of Salvia miltiorrhiza10g/kg(zheng da qingchunbaolimited production10g)。after12hours,every rat was killed.the BALF、bleed、lung tissue have been collected to examine the W/D、LI、LPI and theexpression of Ang-1、Ang-2in lung by western-blot。Results:the W/D、LI、LPI of LPS and salviae groups is higher than those of NS group(p<0.01),thegradingofpathologicdamageoflungtissuewasobvious.the expression of ang-1in lung by NS group which is higher than that in LPSand salviae groups(p<0.05).ang-2expression were significantly higher inLPS and salviae group than NS group (p<0.01).compared with salviaegroup, the ang-2expression、the ratio of wet/dry weight、LI and LPI in LPSgroup were significantly increased(p<0.05). Conclusion:the ratio of ang-1and ang-2expression play an important role in the stability of pulmonaryvascular endothelial cell, which happens during acute lung injury. the salviaecould down-regulate ang-2expression and up-regulate ang-1expression inALI rats, lung tissue to reduce the inflammation of alveolar space.it could theless red cell diapedesis, but the mechanism is understand.
