Objective: To study influence of continuous renal replacement therapy on cardiacoutput measurement using picco techniques,so as to guide management ofhemodynamics. Methods: Twenty-two critical ill patients with both CRRT and CO monitoringenrolled.5datas of CO were measured at3defferent status:CRRT running(C1),interruption instantly (C2) and restarting instantly (C3).The changes of CO wereobserved in3fifferent status. And then5datas of CO(C1: T1-T5,C2: T6-T10,C3: T11-T15)were collected resp ectively at C1,C2and C3.Three group CO datas(C1,C2and C3)and330datas were measured in22patients.Results: CO of T6was incresed significantly and CO of T11were decreasedsignficantly among CO datas of T1-T15(p <0.05).The CO of T1-T5, T7-T10and T12-T15were compared interactively and there were no significant defference (p>0.05).Marginal means analysis shew that significant CO bias occured at T6, T11timepoint.The average of T1-5, T7-10and T12-15were regarded as the CO values of C1,C2and C3(COc1,COc2and COC3).Comp airsons of C1,C2and C3found CO values ofthem at the same level(p>0.05).The CO of T6was significantly increased and The COof T11were decreased significantly when commp ared with COc1,COc2and COC3(p<0.05).Conclusions:1. CO values measured from PICCO are increased significantly atCRRT interruptting instantly and return to the normal level in next measurement aboutone minute.2.CO values measured from PICCO are decreased significantly whenCRRT restarting instantly and also return to the normal level in next measurementabout one minute.3.There is no necessary to stop the CRRT for PICCO monitoringwhen CRRT is running.
