Objective:To assess the clinical evaluation of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of caesarean scar pregnancy (CSP).Methods:Retrospective analysis of the clinical data gathered from36CSP patients treated with hysteroscopy, from2007to2013.Result:Surgical resection of CSP using hysteroscopy was all conducted for the36patients. It includes6patients with hysteroscopy observed by type-B ultrasonic or laparoscopy only;23patients with uterine artery embolization followed by hysteroscopy, and7patients with uterine artery ligation in hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. The operation time ranged10-40min, the average was (22.0±13.2) min, the average hemorrhage was (29.7±7.6) ml. The blood β-hCG dropped significantly after the operation (p<0.01). And the average inpatient days was(8.0±1.3)d. The blood (3-hCG value dropped to normal between1to8weeks. The recovery period of normal menstruation was4to13weeks. Conclusion:Hysteroscopy therapy is a reliable option for caesarean scar pregnancy, which has the advantages of high successful rate, less complications, less inpatient days and less recovery time of blood p-hCG level.
