Objective:To understand the knowledge,attitude and performance of nursingvolunteers to participate in the hospital volunteer service and to analyze their influencingfactors from the different categories.Provide certain reference for hospital volunteermanagement organization in order to promote volunteer nursing service long-term,orderlydevelopment. Methods: A total of885nursing professional volunteers in a three-level offirst-class comprehensive hospital were investigated by using self-designedquestionnaire"nursing volunteers to participate in voluntary service KAP questionnaire".Results: The score of volunteer service knowledge was(8.62±1.253),the awareness ofbasic concepts related to voluntary service was high,>90%,but the mastery of the specificcontent of hospital volunteer service was uneven, the awareness was62.3%-82.4%,volunteers knowledge score difference of different ages, different nationalities,differentdegrees was statistically significant (t=3.434,P<0.005;t=2.925,P<0.005;F=4.971,P<0.05)。The score of volunteer service attitude was (29.14±3.102), more than85.3%volunteers realize personal value through volunteer service,but22.9%of the volunteersdon’t agree with the hospital for volunteer service for a long time, volunteers attitude scoredifference of different ages, different working lifetime was statistically significant (t=-2.757,P<0.05;F=4.895,P<0.05). The score of volunteer service performance was(5.17±0.891), volunteers performance score difference of different working posts wasstatistically significan(tF=5.809,P<0.05). Conclusion:Knowledge, attitude, behaviorof nursing volunteers participate in volunteer service were overall good, but for themanagement of hospital volunteers, the space to help volunteers improve is still large. Thehospital volunteer management organization should strengthen the training of young volunteers and fully meet the needs of different categories of volunteers, developflexible service content according to the characteristics of volunteers,perfect the volunteerincentive strategy,and establish long-term effective mechanism of hospital volunteer.
