Objective:To investigate the high-frequency ultrasound changes in endothelialfunction the formation of anterior tibial artery plaque before and after in type2diabeticpatients.Methods:In this study,125cases were included,38cases in the control group,and83patients in the. The experimental group underwent lower extremity arterial CTA,according to the presence or absence of plaque, divided into plaque group (49cases) andnon-plaque group (34cases). Ultrasound was applied to test all subjects right anteriortibial arteries flow-mediated dilation (FMD). Then at the age of60as a dividing line, theexperimental group and the control is divided into non-elderly and elderly group. Over thesame period measuring fasting glucose (GLU), triglycerides (TG), and low-densitylipoprotein (LDL-c) of non-elderly group. Comparing the differences among control group,and the experimental group with or without plaque groups in FMD; comparing diabeticsand non-diabetic patients with FMD differences in the elderly group. Results:(1)FMD wasstatistically significantly in plaque, non-plaque and the control group, pairwisecomparisons found that plaque groups has lower FMD and the control group has a highestFMD.(2)FMD of diabetics was significantly lower than the non-diabetic patients in thenon-elderly group.(3) In Non-elderly group, partial correlation exists between FMD andGLU, FMD and HDL-c in diabetic patients(rp=-0.423,P<0.05; rp=-0.428,P<0.05).Conclusion:In plaque group, non-plaque group and the control group, FMD have toredued. The plaque group trduced the most obvious, the second group is non-plaque group;except age, the plaque group of FMD is still lowest. So, wo can say that the defect ofanterior tibial artery vascular endothelial function had been existed before the plaqueformed in type2diabetic patients. The relationship between FMD and GLU and HDL-c is closer than other observations.
