Objective: To investigate the relationship of the paraoxonases gene polymerphisms inCIS and CHD between Uygurs and Hans population in Xinjiang.Methods:108CISpatients (64Hans,44Uygurs),117CHD patients(74Hans,41Uygurs)and120healthycontrols (76Hans,44Uygurs) are collected in xinjiang.The polymorphism of thePON1-192, PON1-55,PON2-311gene were determined by the PCR-restriction fragmentlength polymorphism technique. The case-control analysis was adopted to analyze thefrequencies of genotypes and alleles.Results:(1)The frequencies of RR, QR and QQgenotypes of PON1-192in CIS group were31.48%,47.22%and21.30%,respectively;CHD group were35.90%,49.57%and14.53%, respectively; and those incontrol group were20.83%,51.67%and27.50%,respectively. There is statisticaldifference in the distribution of genotypes frequency of PON1-192gene between CHDgroup and control group (P<0.05).(2)The frequencies of LL, LM and MM genotypes ofPON1-55in CIS group were87.96%,11.11%and0.93%, respectively;CHD group were88.03%,11.97%and0%, respectively;and those in control group were87.50%,11.67%and0.83%,respectively.There is statistical difference in the distribution of genotypes and allelefrequency of PON1-55gene between CHD Uygurs group and CHD Hans group (P<0.05).(3)The frequencies of LL, LM and MM genotypes of PON2-311in CIS group were42.59%,50.93%and6.48%, respectively;CHD group were74.36%,13.67%and11.97%,respectively;and those in control group were69.17%,26.66%and4.17%,respectively.There is statistical difference in the distribution of genotypes and allele frequency ofPON2-311gene between CIS group and control group (P<0.05).There is statisticaldifference in the distribution of genotypes frequency of PON2-311gene between CHD group and control group (P<0.05).There is statistical difference in the distribution ofgenotypes frequency of PON2-311gene between CIS group and CHD group (P<0.05).There is statistical difference in the distribution of genotypes and allele frequency ofPON1-55gene between CHD Uygurs group and CHD Hans group (P<0.05). Conclusion:(1)There was relationship between PON1-192gene polymer-phisms and Xingjiang Hanpatients with coronary heart disease. R allele may be arela tive risk factor with the CHD.(2)There is statistical difference in the distribution of genotypes and allele frequency ofPON1-55gene between Uygurs group and Hans group(.3)There was relationship betweenPON2-311gene polymerphisms and Xingjiang patients with Ischemic CerebrovascularDisease coronary heart disease. C allele may be arela tive risk factor with the CIS.
