Objective To evaluate the roles of multislice spiral computed in the diagnosis of Complex congenital heart diseases (CHD).Methods42Patients with complex CHD confirmed by operation were analyzed respectively, including21cases of boys and21cases of girls. Patients’ age ranged from3months to14years(meanage5.2士2y).All of them were examined by two-dimensional echocardiography. All patients were examined by multislice spiral computed and ACG as well, and confirmed by surgical operation. Results (1) The accurate rate of multislice spiral computed and ACG in diagnosing complex CHD was71.18%(42/59) and84.74%(50/59), there were significant difference (P<0.05) respectively. Accuracy rate could up to91.52%(54/59) when both were combined, there were significant difference (P<0.05).(2) Accuracy rates of intra-cardiac malformation were62.85%(22/35) and94.28%(33/35),There were significant difference (P<0.05). While those of extra-cardiac malfonnation were83.33%(20/24) and70.83%(17/24) by multislice spiral computed and ACG, There were no significant difference (p>0.05). Conclusion MSCT is lower than CAG in the detection of pediatric complex CHD, especially for the intra-cardiac malformation. MSCT and CAG in the detection of extra-cardiac malfonnation were no significant difference, The combination of MSCT with ACG can raise the diagnosis rate.
