Study On The "Home Care Service Assessment Form" For The Eiderly Patients With Chronic Diseases

Objective:To develop the "Home Care Service Assessment Scale" for the elderly patients with chronic diseases, by using it to better assess the home care needs and it’s level of the elderly patients, and to help allocate limited community health resources more appropriately.Method:Based on the theory analysis, literature review and group discussion, items of the assessment scale were collected. By two rounds consultation of15exerts using Delphi, the scale structure was established.The Enthusiasm Coefficient of experts, the Authority Coefficient of experts, the Coefficients of Variation and the Harmonization Coefficient were used to examine the reliability and representation of expert consultation. Results:After two rounds consultation, the opinion of the experts was nearly consistent. Experts’ positive coefficient was100%and93.3%(>70%), authority coefficient was0.83and0.84(>0.7);The Coefficient of variation of the fitness of all items ranged from0.05-0.18(<0.3).Conclusions:The Home Care Service Assessment Scale for the elderly patients with chronic diseases was established, which comprised of3parts. The first part includes10items, the second part includes7items and the last part includes10main scales and37subscales. The reliability of the2rounds expert consultation showed that the expert consultations had good reliability and representation.
