Objective:To analyze the difference calcification characteristics between infiltrating ductal carcinoma (IDC) and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) with mammography, and to determine the possibility of DCIS biological behavior as well as histopathologically characteristics with imaging data. Methods:With the reference of BIRADS and the latest WHO standard about breast cancer, the breast mammography imaging of353IDC and70DCIS, which confirmed by surgery and pathology, were analyzed retrospectively. Results:①There was a significant difference between the pure Calcification and Calcification combined with mass (P≤0.05).②There was a significant difference between fine multiple-shape and fine linear-branching calcification in IDC and DCIS (P≤0.008).③There was a significant difference between the regional、clustered and segmental in DCIS pathologic classification (P≤0.008).④There was a significant difference about the location of the lesions with IDC combined DCIS in pathology classification (P≤0.05)⑤There was a significant difference between fine multiple-shape and fine linear-branching calcification in DCIS pathologic classification (P≤0.008).⑥There was a significant difference between the clustered and segmental in DCIS pathologic classification (P≤0.008). Conclusion:Comprehensive analysis and distinguish of the characteristics of calcification between different type of breast cancer is of great value for both diagnosis and prognosis of this tumor.
