Objective: Discuss the risk factors about the patients who with primary open-angleglaucoma,detect the age, gender, intra-ocular pressure fluctuations, systemic disease, suchas factors that affect the pathogenesis of primary open-angle glaucoma. Proven primaryopen-angle glaucoma patients with intraocular pressure fluctuation law, for the futureclinical work in glaucoma treatment and prevention of disease, provide newepidemiological data. Methods: Research the medical charts whose have primaryopen-angle glaucoma of XinJiangmeidica university no.2affiliated hospital from2007to2013composition of the case group, composition control group by non glaucomapatients and age-matched normal population, statistical analysis. Analysis the relationshipbetween sex, age, intraocular pressure fluctuation, history of hypertension, history ofdiabetes, glaucoma family history, smoking history of two group and the risk of primaryopen-angle glaucoma. Results: the patients with primary open-angle glaucoma,70.34%male cases: the maximum age distribution over the age of60, accounting for55.93%. Theintraocular pressure of primary open angle glaucoma patients have two peak at24h, in10AM (24.3±13.61mmHg) and2AM (24.5±13.92mmHg), no significant differencebetween the two peak (P>0.05). Intraocular pressure decreased to low in8PM (22.22±380mmHg), peak10AM and2AM compared with all had significant difference (P<0.05).Has been diagnosed15cases of hypertensive patients,(12.71%), diagnosed with diabetes(both type2diabetes) in25cases (21.19%) had a family history of glaucoma,13patients(11.01%) were performed in29patients with a smoking history of the chi-square test, P<0.05includes: a history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus medical history, family history, smoking history of glaucoma; showed a statistically significant difference between groupsConclusion(s): the patients of primary open-angle glaucoma is a growing trend moreand more in recent years, To prevent primary open angle glaucoma should be more and more important. The case group patients intraocular pressure in non clinic time peakaccounted for more than50%, so the possibility is not according to the clinic ameasurement of intraocular pressure and rule out the primary open angle glaucoma.Strengthen the popularization of knowledge of prevention and treatment for glaucomawith systemic disease and family history of the crowd, regularly check the intraocularpressure, visual field examination, diagnosis and treatment.
