Objective: By uygur and Han Obstructive sleep apnoea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS)in male patients with preoperative cephalometric X-ray,PSG examination.Comparisondifferences between two ethnic groups.Provide help for the preoperation diagnosis andoperation mode of OSAHS. Methods:In April2010-December2012,Department ofhypertension of Xinjiang Autonomous Region People’s Hospital diagnosed95patientsOSAHS cases by polysomnography (PSG)of sleep apnea testing center.Consistent withthe conditions of the research object of Uygur male patients with33cases,the age of40.67±6.45year olds.42Hana male patients, the age of41.33±7.17year olds.In the wakingstate do orthostatic cephalometric X-ray.All samples of X-ray sign by the Department ofStomatology physicians use hard pencil in sulfuric acid transparent paper point、tab、counterdraw. To obtain upper groove angle(SNA)、Inferior alveolar seat angle(SNB)、ABplane angle(ANB)、Airway diameter(PAS)、The upper edge of the hyoid bone to thevertical distance of mandible(MP-H),The soft palate length(PNS-P),The thickness of softpalate(SPT) and BMI、age、The measured value of PSG(AMI、The average oxygensaturation、The lowest oxygen saturation、Hypopnea times)Data were analyzed withSPSS18.0statistical software. Results:Statistically significant differences in MP-H,PNS-P, BMI of uygur and Han(P<0.05),The P values were0.016,0.033,0.028,they areless than0.05.No significant differences in SNA, SNB, ANB, et al(P>0.05).Conclusion:The hyoid position of Han patients are lower than in Uighur patients. The softpalate of Uighur patients longer than Han patients. The degree of obesity of Han patientslighter than Uighur patients. X-ray cephalometric has Clinical diagnostic value fordiagnosis of upper airway obstruction in patients with OSAHS.
