Abstract/Summary:
China currently has about120million hepatitis B virus carriers, with an average annualincrease of300,000patients. The key factor of treatment for liver cirrhosis is early detectionand prevention. Compared to the traditional liver biopsy, transient elastography systemprovides a new means of early detection and prevention for liver fibrosis and cirrhosis, whichis low-cost, non-invasive, and real-time, repeatively with high sampling rate. The hardware system is required by Transient elastography algorithm to implement twoindicators: high signal-to-noise ratio and real-time. To implement high signal-to-noise ratio, design of circuit parameters and structure of the echo signal processing circuit must bereasonable to reduce noise, or even avoid introducing unnecessary noise. To implement highsignal-to-noise ratio, we must seek a reliable transmission with higher data transfer rates. In the ultrasonic echo signal processing, I design the preamplifier and time compensationcircuit, with reasonable allocation of both two gains in order to reduce the overall input noise, while creatively put a band-pass filter between the LNP and TGC and anti-aliasing filterbefore the ADC to reduce the noise. Our phantom experiments show hardware platformcontributes43.7dBFS improvement in signal-to-noise ratio of the echo signal.I designed two sets of high-speed data transmission system, respectively based onGigabit Ethernet and USB3.0. Gigabit Ethernet has stable125MB/s data transmission rate, and is suitable for long-distance transmission; USB3.0achieve a176MB/s data transmissionrate, for transmission within3meters. Based on excellent transmission rate, both fully meetthe requirements of real-time transmission, and can be reliably applied to the instantaneouselastic imaging system. My work meets the two basic indicators of high signal-to-noise ratio and real-timesuccessfully, has important value of applications in the actual transient elastography system.
