Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To discussed the asthma control test (ACT) and peak expiratory flow(PEF), to help patients with bronchial asthma better accurateand simple self-monitoringto improve patient compliance.Methods:1.Study design: The study design for non-double-blind, prospective, open,.2.Subjects: select hospital outpatient revenue from August2011to April2012,confirmed20cases of patients with bronchial asthma patients taking inhaled sexhormoneescalationherapy remission. Disease isdividedinto mild, moderate and severe asthma, inaccordance with the results of lung function FEV1%in patients without-patient comparison group ACT difference.3.Monitoring, recording equipment: the pill Bo Technology CoShanghai Cocapeak speed detector (60-850L/min), model thePEF-3; international asthma Union providesasthma monitoring diary.4.Research steps: right into the group of patients PEF monitoring, measurement2times a day, morning6:30-7:30and18:30-19:30at night, each measured three times, themaximum value recorded in the asthma diaries, and truthfully fill out the asthma Control Test. Every four weeks follow-up to understand the situation of the PEF and ACT monitoring. Expected to PEFpred%> personal value of80%for asthma control,<the individual is expected to a value of80%of asthma is not controlled, the Asthma Control Test<20is divided into asthma is not controlled;20to25are divided into asthma control. Results:ACTscore <20grouped with anACTscore of20to25group PEFpred%compared with the difference statistically significant (P <0.01). PEFpred%<individual expected value of80%group PEFpred%>Personal expected value of80%ACT score difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). ACT score PEFpred%linear correlation (P <0.001). ACTscore between mild tom oderate non-significant difference (P>0.05), theACT score was no significant differencebetween moderate to severe (P>0.01), the ACT score between mild and severe (P=0.006), the resignificant difference.
