Purpose: To investigate the efficacy of treatment for Cervical lymph nodemetastasis which caused after the operation for the thyroid cancer through the way ofpercutaneous radiofrequency ablation. Methods: By using Fine needle aspiration cytology pathology, seventhyroid cancer patients be confirmed18Cervical lymph node metastasis, under ultrasound guidance, through the way of percutaneous radiofrequency ablationto treat Cervical lymph node metastasis.Results:18Cervical lymph node metastasis were once ablated, successfully, nowthe patients are survival. With a mean follow-up10.5months, through the ultrasoundreview we found that seven Cervical lymph node metastasis disappeared, absorbed morethan80%in five,50%-80%in four, less than50%in two. We found no recurrence ofCervical lymph node metastasis. Conclusion: under ultrasound guidance, through the way of percutaneousradiofrequency ablation to treat Cervical lymph node metastasis is a new method fortreating the recurrent thyroid cancer. Radiofrequency ablation is feasible and safe, littletrauma, high repetitiveness and have broad applications.
