Purpose of research:The content change of calcitonin gene related peptide (CGRP) of sensory neurotransmitter in plasma of diabetic patients with elective laparoscopic surgery was determined to embody the impact of perioperative activate reaction on CGRP of plasma, and to explore the possible correlation and clinical significance between perioperative calcitonin gene related peptide of plasma in diabetic patients and diabetes, psychological stress and surgical stimulation.Test Method:The patients with elective laparoscopic surgery were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group with28cases in each group. The control group comprised of the non-diabetic patients with laparoscopic surgery; The observation group comprised of the diabetic patients with laparoscopic surgery; The blood samples were taken3-5ml (non-transfusion side) before operation-30min before anesthesia(To), in operation-30min after skin incision (T1), after operation-after removing the tracheal tubes (T3), and the blood glucose of plasma at the3time points was measured by glucometer and the CGRP of plasma at the3time points measured by Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay. The diabetic patients of observation group were divided into two subgroups according to the sick duration:diabetic group of1-5years (16cases) and diabetic group of6-10years (12cases).Test Results:The content of CGRP in plasma in observation group was further significantly increased than that of the control group (P<0.05). The content of CGRP in patients of diabetic group of6-10years was significantly higher than the content level before operation (P<0.05) and the CGRP content in patients of diabetic group of1~5years (P<0.05). The blood glucose in the diabetic group and the control group was significantly higher than those in operation and after operation (P<0.05); Comparing with the control group, the blood glucose was significantly higher than those in the control group at the time points before operation, in operation and after operation (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Diabetes plasma CGRP levels slightly lower compared with non-diabetic patients, but the difference was not significant. Traumatic stress of surgery the patient’s blood glucose levels were significantly increased in diabetic patients intraoperative blood glucose levels more obvious, and timely monitoring of blood sugar levels of diabetic patients to reduce the risk of intraoperative.2.1to5years of diabetes6to10years group plasma CGRP in patients with diabetes group was significantly decreased compared with increasing duration of diabetes, CGRP weaken the protective effect on the body.3. Diabetic group and non-diabetic patients with plasma CGRP difference was not significant changes over time in the perioperative period, anesthesia can inhibit the perioperative stress response, CGRP may be released slowly in the early stress.
