Experimental Study Of CEREC â…¢ CAD/CAM Among Three Cover Material In Colordifference

Objective: To evaluate the color matching of veneer restorations with differentceramic materials to shade tab.Methods: twelve veneer restorations were fabricated by three ceramic materials(VITA Mark II, Ivoclar E.max LTCAD and Ivoclar E.max CAD Multi, A2shade)(n=4).Veneer restorations were controlled at thickness of0.6mm. And then these restorationswere sintered glazing in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended procedures.The color parameters of veneer restorations were measured by Olympus Crystaleyeagainst the natural color shade resin material substrate. The color differences werecalculated between veneer restoration and shade tab (A2shade) at the cervical, centraland incisal sections, respectively. The color differences (E values) were statisticallyanalyzed using a one-way analysis of variance.Results: The results of one-way ANOVA for the E values showed that there wassignificant difference between VITA Mark II and E.max LTCAD and Ivoclar E.maxCAD Multi at the cervical and central section (p<0.005). VITA Mark II and E.maxLTCAD at the central section (p<0.059).The color differences between E.max CAD LTgroup andEmax group were significant different in incisal sections, which consistentwith E.max LTCAD group and E.max CAD Multi group (p<0.03).
