Objective:To access the renal perfusion in different pathological staging of liver fibrosisrats by contrast-enhanced ultrasound with time-intensity curve and investigate relationshipsbetween the quantitative parameter for ultrasound imaging changes and different stages of liverfibrosis.Methods:6healthy rats were randomly selected as control group from50healthy maleWistar rats, and the rest44rats were dealed with thioacetamide (TAA) as hepatic fibrosis modelgroup.12rats were randomly selected from model group in4W,8W and12W after being molded,and2rats were randomly selected from control group to do real-time ultrasound contrastinspection.Firstly, one side of the kidney, the long axis of the largest cross-section image, was gotby two-dimensional ultrasonic and then switch to the mode of contrast-enhancedultrasound.Observe renal blood perfusion, store the dynamic images for3minutes, then importthe images into the competer. Renal perfusion was analyzed quantitatively with the time-intensitycurve by QontraXt software. The parameters of the time intensity curve include peak signalintensity (Peak), time to peak intensity (TP), area under the curve (AUC), sharpness of the curve(β). Compare the renal blood perfusion of different periods and quantitative detection of time-intensity curve changes of the indicators, and then analyze the correlation between different stagesof liver fibrosis and ultrasonography quantitative indicators.Results:①Compared with the control group, S0,S1, S2and S3period,the rats of S4hadan obvious change, including the reduction of renal cortical perfusion, infusion speed slow; thetime-intensity curves showed that the peak intensity was decreased, the time peak was prolonged, the area under the curve was decrease (p <0.05); the sharpness of the curve has no statisticalsignificance (p>0.05).②The test group from S0to S4,with the aggravation of hepatic fibrosis, the peak intensity and the area under the curve showed the tendency of decreasing, time to peak was showed the tendency of increasing. Contrast-enhanced quantitative parameters of the peakintensity, the area under the curve were negatively correlated with fibrosis staging (p <0.01);Tmax was positively correlated with fibrosis staging (p <0.01); there is no correlation betweenthe point of the curve and liver fibrosis stage (p>0.05).Conclusions: Ultrasound combined with time-intensity curves can be quantitativeanalysis of different degree of liver fibrosis rats renal blood perfusion. Renal cortexcontrast-enhanced ultrasound parameters, including peak strength, peak time, the area under thecurve, are closely related to the staging of liver fibrosis in rats, which can provides objective basisfor the early detection of abnormal renal blood perfusion caused by different degree of liverfibrosis. With the aggravation of hepatic fibrosis, renal perfusion parameters showed the varyregularly.
