Objective: To measure the expression of P53, Bmi-1and HIF-1α and correlation in different pathological type of esophageal cancer tissue and Barrett’s esophagus.To explore relationship between P53, Bmi-1,HIF-1αand the differentiation and metastasis of Esophageal cancer.we could clarify the role of three factors in esophageal cancer and explore the pathogenesis of esophageal cancer, provide new train of thought and experimental basis for prevent of esophageal cancerMethods:The human mucosa of75patients with Esophageal cancer and20healthy persons were followed up between2011and2012at General Hospital of TISCO,Shanxi Medical University.The expression of P53,HIF-laand Bmi-1were examined by SABC immunohistochemistry in tissue specimens embedded by paraffin. The relationship of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1with clinicopathologic factors was analysed by16.0for Windows software.Results:P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1were overexpressed in human muscosa of Esophageal cancer,and the level of the positive expression of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1was89.33%76.00%and54.67%,respectively.The expression of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1were significantly increased in Esophageal cancer than that in the health (P<0.05).The expression of P53and HIF-1αsignificantly positive correlation (b+c<25, γ=0.389, P<0.001); The expression of P53and Bmi-1were significantly positive correlation (X2=22.8,y=0.360,P<0.001); The expression of HIF-1αand Bmi-1were significantly positive correlation (X2=8.03, γ=0.390,P<0.001)). The expression of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1were increased with tumor differentiation degree drop(P<0.05):P53:The high differentiation of esophageal cancer was about83.3%; the middle differentiation of esophageal cancer was about90.6%; the less differentiation of esophageal cancer was about94.7%.;Barrett esophagus was about25%(P<0.001). HIF-1α:The high differentiation of esophageal cancer was about54.2%; the middle differentiation of esophageal cancer was about84.4%; the less differentiation of esophageal cancer was about89.5%.;Barrett esophagus was about8.3%(P<0.001).Bmi-1:The high differentiation of esophageal cancer was about45.8%; the middle differentiation of esophageal cancer was about53.1%; the less differentiation of esophageal cancer was about68.4%.;Barrett esophagus was about8.3%(P<0.001)Conclusion:. The expression of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1were significantly increased in Esophageal cancer than that in the health. The expression of P53,HIF-1αand Bmi-1were increased with tumor differentiation degree.By joint detection,we may provide more reliable information about patients with esophageal cancer and was expected to provide new effective for esophageal cancer treatment targets.
