【Objective】Hypertension combined with anxiety and depression is a more commonoccurrence in cardiovascular disease(CD). Frequently-occuring disease developes adouble heart medical model" treatment and we discuss the antihypertensive effect,doing the reasearch about drug treatment associated with psychological interventionwhich is involved the psychological field and physiology disease.【Methods】A target group of80patients with hypertension combined with anxiety anddepression was taken (40of each), ranging from44to70years old. Using the samedrugs, irbesartan tablets (Sanofi Hangzhou Pharmaceutical Company Limited)150mg,1times a day, for12weeks.This80patients were divided into two groups: a routinetreatment group(Irbesartan tablets, general education.) and a psycho-cardiologicalgroup(Irbesartan tablets, cognitive behavioral therapy, the patient one-by-onetreatment method). Patients with hypertension were assessed by clinical bloodpressure, ambulatory blood pressure and home blood pressure. Patients with cardiacneurosis adopt Hamilton anxiety, depression scale (HAMA, HAMD) comprehensivescore. Observation took place over12weeks in order to understand the situation ofthe disease.【Result】The blood pressure of all patients of psycho-cardiological group and routinetreatment group decreased, but the systolic blood pressure of psycho-cardiologicalgroup dropped greater than that of routine treatment group (P <0.05). Totalcholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (ldl-c) presented the downward trend. Dysphoria and depression are in remission, too. And the quality of life inPsycho-cardiological group is apparently improved.【Conclusion】The management of hypertension rises2to3times in treatment than regulartherapy, which open new avenues of research for treatment of cardiovascular disease.
