Evaluating The Short-time And Long-time Effectiveness About Levonorgestrel-releasing Intrauterine System And Thermal Balloon Ablation For The Treatment Of Menorrhagia

Objective:To evaluat the short-time and long-time effectiveness about levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system with thermal balloon ablation for menorrhagia.Methods:collect579patients who are diagnosed with heavy menstrual bleedingin Guangzhou medical college-The Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical Collage from2005.12-2008.12,with the principles of voluntary,singe informed consent after strice screening,a total of77patients in test,77women with heavy menstrual bleedingare randomly assigned into team A(LNG-IUS)39cases and team B(TBA)38cases.The team A uses LNG-IUS treatment,the team B uses TBA treatment.Observe the diffrents of menstrual quantity (used pictorial blood loss assessment chart(PBAC))[1]、menstrual period、menstrual cycal、bleeding mode and adverse reaction f two groups after treatment of3months、6months、12months and36months,, tested the hemoglobin(Hb),the concentration of Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)、corpus luteum erythropoietin(LH),estradiol(E2) after treatment of6months and12months.Results:1、The menstrual volume and the menstrual periods of group A and B haveimproved obviously before and after treatment for3months,6months(P <0.05), those drop from258.32±72.75,10.90±2.37and254.89±67.18,11.19±2.11to76.10±21.26,9.52±1.61and58.94±44.09,9.00±1.90.2、The is not statistically significant in menstrual cycles changes ofgroup A and B （P>0.05），and also the two groups after treatmens（P>0.05）.3、 The amenorrhoea rate of group A are lower than group B after treatmentfor3months、6months and12months,there were9.68%、13.79%、14.29 %and38.89%、33.33%、30.56%,and the diffrences have statistics meaning(P<0.05)；but there is not tatistics meaning of the amenorrhoea rate in the two groups after treatment for24months、36months a（P>0.05）。4、 There is more irregular vaginal bleeding in group A than group B After treatment for3months,6months(P <0.05); but there is no difference between the two groups after treatment for12months,24months and36months(P>0.05).The incidence of others adverse reaction has no tatistics meaning （P>0.05）。5、 There are significiant difference of two groups’ hemoglobin changesafter treatment for6months,12months,those of hemoglobin increas from86.06±4.27and88.50±5.60to111.68±7.58,116.16±4.29and114.22±6.22,114.11±4.32, but the difference between the two groups are notsignificantly different（P>0.05）.6、 Sex hormone levels of the two groups have not changed greatly before and after treatment for6months,12months(P <0.05).7、 The cost of group A is lower than group B(P <0.05).
