In this paper, we used the result of ’3414’fertilizer efficiency experiment of218counties in Jilin province to study the maize yield respond to phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer and the factors that contribute to them. The main conclusions are asfollows:1.The increase of maize yield reduced with increasing P, K fertilizers, so didagronomy efficiency. Instead of increasing maize yield, the excessive P and Kfertilizer application would cause resource wastes and environmental pollution.2.There was a close relationship between maize maximum yield and soil fertility. The maximum grain yield increased with an increase in yield of no P, K fertilizer.3. Among counties, corn hybrids and precipitation shown a highly significantdifference in the increase of maize yield under P fertilizer. It indicated that the mainfactors affecting yield increasing rate under P fertilizer including corn varieties, precipitation and management, such as fertilizer application method.4. Among counties shown a highly significant difference in the increase of maizeyield under K fertilizer, which indicate that different management practices ofdifferent areas have significant effects on maize absorbing potassium nutrition.5. Using the CART to validate the effect of yield increase under fertilizer andclassify impact factors. The conclusions were consistent with the basic statistics...
