To address the damage problems on Chinese herbal medicine planting weeds in the field of Longde county,the first thing to do is to investigate on main weeds in herbal medicine fields.do the study of effect of weed control technology and chemical weed control.Afterwards, herbicides, including Pendimethalin, Metribuzin and Oxyfluorfen, were applied in test fields of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bunge, Isatis tinctoria Bunge and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi in the sealing treatment period between seeding and seedling to find out the safest and most effective sorts and dosage of herbicides. In the meantime, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi was adopted with foliage treatment after seedling, and mulched with black film throughout the procedure.1. The weed in medicine field in Longde County can be sorted into12families, and a total of21breeds.Mainly includes the compositae, amaranthaceae, chenopodiaceae, gramineae and spin flower, etc. The harm is bigger, as the dominant population of compositae endives, bitter radicchio dishes, smelly artemisia, and cover with grass, accounting for30.2%of the total number of weed;Chenopodiaceae of ash green quinoa, accounting for18.9%of the total number of weed;Amaranth class of amaranthus retroflexus, accounting for27.2%of the total number of weed.The spring weeds include Artemisia hedinii, Calystegia hederacea,Cirsium bracteiferum Shin, Sonchus brachyotus and Chenopodium glaucum, while summer ones are sonchus brachyotus, Sonchus oleraceus, Artemisia hedinii, Amaranthus retroflexus, Polygonum sibiricum, Calystegia hederacea, shepherd’s purse, Chenopodium glaucum and Barnyard grass, etc.2. In the sealing treatment of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bunge, the use of Pendimethalin has great effect on the total control of fresh weeds and that for main weeds, accompanied by certain hazard on the seedling of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bunge,it about75%.The hazard will be gradually relieved20days after it sprouts. Metribuzin has unremarkable effect on weed control though it is of no risk,it about60%. Oxyfluorfen will result in negative effect on safety, but positive effect on weed control. In foliage treatment, three-time Metribuzin tests of different seasons and concentrations show that the effect of safety and weed control reaches a high when the seedling is about2-3cm tall in June, it more than80%and the plants grows better afterwards.3. Mulching black film on Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bunge is of great value on weed control because it has significant effect on a vast majority of weeds. Its control effect can exceed90%. Black film plant production is much higher than field planting, production all over100%, earnings exceeded ten thousand yuan.Ratio greater than5, far more than the field planting ratio of1.76.The root thickness and fresh weight can be of the best figure only if seed dressing is adopted, and only when each hole (the diameter is about10cm) is filled with0.45g seeds when seeding, and both the rowledge and the interval are6cm.4. Metribuzin is the safest on both Isatis tinctoria Bunge and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi since it has little impact on their sprouting and growing. Pendimethalin is safe on Isatis tinctoria Bunge while it puts off the sprouting of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. Yet, it has no effect on its growing. Oxyfluorfen is also safe on Isatis tinctoria Bunge for it has little influence on the growing and sprouting. On Isatis tinctoria Bunge, Oxyfluorfen has the best control effect,it about97.7%, and Pendimethalin follows,it about89.8%. Pendimethalin has better effect of weed control in Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi field,the control effect is89.9%.
