Classical swine fever (CSF) is a highly contagious and often fatal disease of swine caused by classical swine fever virus (CSFV). The annual direct economic losses caused CSFV was several billions of dollars, resulting in enormous human and resource waste. So research on the technology of control the disease was very important for global pig industry. In this paper, the serological investigation, the immunization program formulation and the eradication of classical swine fever was researched, provide a theoretical basis and clinical practice for future prevention and control classical swine fever. In order to know understand the immune protection rate of swine fever vaccine in Jiangsu Province, total3232serum from196swine farms,11regions of Jiangsu province was detected. Results:the positive rate of antibody was96.8%(95%-98%) in large-scale pig farms, it was very high. But in rural retail, the positive rate of antibody was77%(61%-88%), it was lower than in large-scale pig farms. Conclusion:the immune protection of classical swine fever vaccine was uneven in Jiangsu Province, especially in rural retail, need to strengthen the immune efficiency of classical swine fever vaccine. To formulate the immune programme of CSFV vaccine for the piglets of gilts,8litters of piglets were randomly divided into4groups, A, B, C and D, each group of2. A:Group of ultra-pre immunity; group B:Group of the first vaccine was on21days of age; group C:Group of35the first vaccine was on35days of age; group D: control group. The antibody level was detected in7,14,21,28,35,65and105days of age. Results:the positive rate in Group A was very high in all the stage of ages, that is in14and21days of age, the positive rates were reached more than90%, in other stage of ages, all the positive rates were reached more than95%. The positive rate in Group B and Group C were very low in21days of age, about25%. The control group was seroconversion when the piglets were35days of age. Conclusion: the farm may be infected with classical swine fever virus and Group of is very good method to control the disease. To eradicate classical swine fever in a farrow to finished pig farm, designed an "immune to detection to elimination to monitoring" circulation system. Methods: blood was collected for classical swine fever virus detection in grandparent generation by ELISA and eliminated the positive pigs. The remaining grandparents were vaccinated with classical swine fever vaccine. Detected the classical swine fever antibody in serum4weeks later. Vaccinated classical swine fever vaccine again if the antibody was negative. Eliminate the still negative pigs. In parents generation, detected the antibody4weeks later after vaccinated the classical swine fever vaccine, Vaccinated classical swine fever vaccine again if the antibody was negative. Eliminate the still negative pigs. The circulation system was implemented4times in two years. Results:After4times cycles, all the pigs of the grandparent generation were negative of classical swine fever virus and positive of classical swine fever vaccine antibody. In parent generation, all the pigs were positive of classical swine fever vaccine antibody. Conclusion:after4times cycles in2years, successfully eradicated the classical swine fever virus by "immune to detection to elimination to monitoring" circulation system.
