Abstract/Summary:
The ratoon rice is a kind of rice which can harvest two times. Its yield includes main season yield and ratoon yield. The yield can be influenced by variety and cultivation. It is good for variety chosed and cultivation improved to research the different of medium-season rice and ratoon rice yield formation among different varieties. Besides, because of mechanization on rice harvest can cause stubble losed, and it will limit ratoon yield. So, we expect to improve ratoon yield after mechanization on main season by spraying several kinds of plant growth regulator on leaf of the main stubble. The field experiments have done on Lanjie village, Huaqiao town, Wuxue city in2012and2013and used ⅡYH1and HHZ as material. The objectives are to compare the different the yield and rice quality formation of main season and ratoon season, research the effect of different plant growth regulators on the two vatieties. The main results are obtained as follows:1. The yields of main season of two varieties have no significant difference, but the yields of ratoon season have at the medium-season rice and ratoon rice model. The yield of main season and ratoon season of the super rice ⅡYH1is9.05t hm-2and4.52t hm-2, respectively. And the yield of IIYH1is higher than HHZ whose main season yield and ratoon yield is8.89t hm-2and4.08t hm’2, respectively. The former is higher than the latter by4.86%.2. The yield potential has significant difference among different varieties. At this experiment, the sink size of ⅡYH1is significant higher than HHZ, and their sink sizes are13.44t hm-2and9.88t hm-2, respectively. So, the high yield of ⅡYH1is because of bigger sink size, but the low grain filling limits the yield. HHZ has much more spikelets per square meter, but the1000-grain weight limits the yield.3. The yield of ratoon season depends on the more buds. The rate of contribution of the yield of ratoon season of D2and D3to the total ratoon yield is about94%. Because of the D2and D3have more spikelets than D4and D5which caused by more degenerated secondary branches and degenerated spikelets.4. Rice’s quality of ratoon rice was superior to main crop. The milled rice rate and the head rice rate of the ratoon season grain is significant high to the main season grain. And ⅡYH1and HHZ have same trend. From rice appearance quality, chalkly rice and chalkiness of main season and ratoon season of HHZ is significant lower than ⅡYHl. The chalkly rice and chalkiness of main season is significant higher than ratoon season. The value is from32.7%to58.5%and66.0%-83.4%on ⅡYH1,and is76.9%to88.8%and75.0-86.2%on HHZ,respectively.5. The plant growth regulators can regulate the growth of ratoon rice, but the effects is difference on different vatrieties. Although PP333can promote the ratoon buds germination, it can be not good at panicled and milled. So it has nagetive effect on ratoon yield. And6-BA and6-BA+BR can promote the ratoon buds growth. Then the ratoon yield increases by1.7%-2.1%.Above all, because of the bigger sink size of ⅡYH1, the yield of super rice Ⅱ YH1is higher than HHZ, but its low filled grain rate is a limited reason. At high stubble, the yield of D2and D3is the main part of ratoon yield. Rice’s quality of ratoon rice was superior to main crop, and different varieties can cause different quality. The effect of plant growth regulator on different varieties is different. And the yield of different treatments is not significant.
