The soil salinization is becoming more seriously in our country, especially in Ningxia. In order to curb soil salinization, the governance of soil salinization is particularly critical. However finding out the dynamics of soil salinization is the key of the governance of salinization. In this paper, taking the northern region of Yinchuan as an example, builds the1-D soil water salt transport’s mathematical model of the soil in this region, and conducts the one-dimensional soil water and salt numerical simulation of the soil in this region. It is mainly to do the following work:1Because of building the mathematical model of soil water salt transport involves many parameters, which are determined experimentally in the laboratory. One of the parameters is got through the soil moisture characteristic curve which is fitted. In this paper, it attempts to use two kinds of software to fit this curve. It is found that these two kinds of software are suitable for fitting soil moisture characteristic curve after being analyzed and compared. The application of one of them requires a high programming knowledge, and the other is easier.2To build the mathematical model of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport and use the finite volume method to get the numerical simulation of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture movement. After verification example, the model can be used to get the numerical simulation of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport. And had compared with using the finite difference method, find that it is better using the finite volume method to sovle the problem of1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport than using the finite difference method.3To build the mathematical model of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport and use the finite volume method to get the numerical simulation of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture movement. After verification example, the model also applies to get the numerical simulation of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport.4The water salt transport of the field will be affected by many factor, the paper considers the conditions of evaporation and precipitation before getting the mathematical model of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport and build it is mathematical model. To get the mathematical model of the1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport by using finite volume method. And compare the simulation with measured values. The results show that the model and model parameters determined got in this paper is fitting for the research of1-D unsaturated soil moisture transport, in the northern area of Yinchuan.
