Based on a low protein piglet diet which was formulated according to the most recent theory of digestible amino acids balance,2rations were composed by either adding an authorized antibiotics or not (labeled as LPA and LPNA). The2low protein rations were fed to weaning(3-8kilograms) and weaned piglets(15-30kilograms) in compare with a commercial ration (CR) to test their feasibilities according to the production performance, nutrient digestibilities and serum biochemical indexes.Trail1Effects of different diets on production performance and serum biochemical indicators of suckling pigletsThe trail was conducted according to the principles of random block design for single factor. Five replicative batches were arranged due to different starting time points. Three litters of piglets (DurocxLandracex Large Yorkshire) with similar birth date, live weight and male to female ratio were selected from farrowed sows for each batch. There were10piglets in each litter, i.e.,150piglets for15litters in all.One of the3rations, i.e., LPA, LPNA and CR, was randomly assigned to a litter. The trail started on the7th day after farrowing and lasted for21days. The starting and end body weight of piglets were measured, diarrhea incidences during the trail were recorded and the blood sample of each piglets were collected for further analysis on the last day of the trail. Results showed that compared with the CR,both the LPA and LPNA can improve the ADFI and decrease the ADG and diarrhea incidences while have no effect on mortality of the piglets; Both of LPA(P=0.003) and LPNA(P=0.037) can significantly decrease SUN while have no effect on other serum indexes of piglets.Trail2Effects of different diets on production performance、 nutrient apparent digestibility and serum biochemical indicatorsThe trail was conducted according to the principles of random block design for single factor.Three replicative batches were arranged due to different starting time points. Three litters of piglets (DurocxLandracexLarge Yorkshire) with similar birth date, live weight and male to female ratio were selected from farrowed sows for each batch. There were16piglets in each pen, i.e.,144piglets for9pens in all.One of the3rations, i.e., LPA, LPNA and CR, was randomly assigned to a pen. The trail started on the45th day after farrowing and lasted for30days. The starting and end body weight of piglets were measured, diarrhea incidences during the trail were recorded and the blood sample of each piglets were collected for further analysis on the last day of the trail. Results showed that compared with the CR, the LPA can improve the ADG and ADFI and decrease diarrhea incidences and FCR of piglets, LPNA can improve the ADFI and diarrhea incidences and decrease the ADG and FCR of piglets. The LPNA can improve the apparent digestibities of DM (P=0.000)、CP(P=0.005)、EE(P=0.001)、ash (P=0.005)、 Ca (P=0.012)、Glu (P=0.041)、 Ile (P=0.025)、Leu (P=0.025)、Lys (P=0.028) while the LPA can significantly increase the apparent digestibities of DM (P=0.000)、CP (P=0.023),Ile (P=0.034) and decrease the apparent digestibities of His (P=0.021).The LPNA can significantly increase the level of STP (P=0.044)、IgG (P=0.000) and IgM (P=0.000)and T3/T4(P=0.008) and decrease the level of SUN (P=0.031) and serum glucose (P=0.000), while the LPA can significantly increase the level of SGPT (P=0.001) and IgG (P=0.000) and T3/T4(P=0.000) and decrease the level of SUN (P=0.004) and serum glucose (P=0.000).It seemed that formulate diets according to the theory of digestible amino acids balance can significantly improve the digestibility of the main nutrients and it can also optimize nutrient metabolism and immune status of piglets.Piglets of LPA and LPNA have similar production performance with CR.However,we need more further research to determine wheather it is feasible to remove antibiotics completely of diets of piglets for the feeding conditions in this experiment.
