| Three experiments were conducted to determine the nutritive value of wheat in poultry daily ration. Trail1:The metabolizable energy values of4wheat which came from different areas were14.32±0.17MJ/Kgã€14.38±0.13MJ/Kgã€14.05±0.18MJ/Kgã€14.52±0.09MJ/Kg respectively with total feces collection method.Trail2:A total of600320-day-old Coral Nick layers with the average laying rate and egg weight were randomly allotted into5groups with4replicates(30birds per replicate) each as follows:Control group(0%wheat),15%wheat,30%wheat,45%wheat,45%wheat+pigment, Feed and water were provided ad libitum. This trial lasted for35days. Results were as follows:(1) The laying rate, average egg weight, egg mass and FCR were trend to increase when no more than45%of wheat added in diet, while feed intake of the adding45%wheat group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).(2) No significant difference was observed in Haugh unit when diet supplemented with wheat, but there was a trend to increase the egg broken rate.(3) With the increasing in the proportion of wheat in diet, the yolk color was significantly whiter (P<0.01), and supplementation with pigment in wheat-diet can significantly improve the color of egg yolk(P<0.01).(4) In the present formula system, diet added with wheat could improve the relative economic benefits when wheat price was lower than200Yper ton. Trail3:A total of800broilers with the average body weight were randomly allotted into8groups with5replicates(20birds per replicate) each as follows:Control group(0%wheat),20%wheat,40%wheat,60%wheat,20%wheat+enzyme8301,40%wheat+enzyme8301,60%wheat+enzy me8301,60%wheat+pigment(Y40),Feed and water were provided ad libitum. Results were as follows:(1) With the wheat increasing the growth performance has not been significantly affected, but the skin and chicken feet color became shallow gradually;(2) Adding20%+enzyme wheat and40%wheat+enzyme preparation cannot improve the growth performance, but adding60%wheat+enzymes could improve the produce performance of broilers;(3)60%wheat+pigment can improve color of chicken feet, but can’t reach the effects of groups which added0%wheat and20%wheat.(4) Adding wheat and enzymes can increase the economic efficiency,with a60%+enzyme preparation was the best, increasing by about8.52%.The following conclusion of this study could be drawn from:1. There were not significantly effects in diet added with15%-45%wheat, the feed-intake was significantly(P<0.01) improved with45%wheat. No significant difference was observed in egg quality, but with the increasing in the proportion of wheat in diet, the yolk color was significantly whiter and supplementation with pigment in wheat-diet can significantly improve the color of egg yolk.2. With the wheat increasing the growth performance has not been significantly affected in broiler performance. Adding pigment in wheat-diet can improve the color of skin and feet of the Sanhuang broiler.3. In the present formula system, diet added with wheat could reduce the cost of feed and improve the economic benefit of feeding lays and broiler. |
