| Forest gap formation and development play an important role in speciesdiversity and vegetation renewal in forest. At the same time, forest gap is not only themaintain basis of the large number of species coexistence and biodiversity in forestcommunities, but also the main factors of wood seedling regeneration in forest. Usethe area plot survey method to study the forest gap, the gap edge and the non-gap ofthe three position in0-10a (early stage of succession),10-20a (pre-succession),20-30a(successional) and30-40a (late-successional) four successional stages of the gap, toexplant the species and seedling dynamics of a given strain in the plots, the resultsshowed that:1) the area of the forest gap shape was polygon which accounting for83.5%; the smallgap more, the large gap less; the important way of the gap formed were the deadwood and fallen trees, followed by the ground of the gap; In forest gap, the forest gapformation wood of the largest number was12, at least was the only one;8types and55plants of the forest gap formed in plot, including the largest proportion of Quercusaliena were36plants (65.5%), of Pinus armandi were12plants (21.8%), of Acergrosseri were2plants (3.63%), of Cerasus scopulorum,Lindera obtusiloba,Maackiahupehensis,Staphylea holocarpa respectively was1plants (1.82%), andDendrobenthamia japonica was1plant (1.82%) in shrubs.2) diversity index results showed that:①the different successional stages of the gapdemonstrated: in0-10a, the Richness index, the Shannon-Wiener index and the Pielouindex in descending order was: tree layer> shrub layer> the liana, the Simpson indexwas: liana layer> shrub layer> tree layer; in10-20a and20-30a, the Richness index, the Shannon-Wiener index and the Pielou index was: tree layer> shrub layer, theSimpson index was: liana layer> shrub layer> tree layer; in30-40a, the Richnessindex, the Shannon-Wiener index, the Pielou index and the Simpson index was10,3.18,1.38and0.05.②the plant diversity of the different locations in the gapsdemonstrated:the Richness index and the Shannon-Winener index in the gap and thegap edge was: tree> shrub>liana, the Simpson index was:liana>tree> shrub, the Pielou index was: trees> shrubs> liana; in the non-gap of the Richness index and theShannon-Winene index was: tree> shrub, the Simpson index and theShannon-Winener index was:shrub> tree.3) the research results of Quercus aliena seedling regeneration showed that:①the timeand manner of seedling emergence: At March10,2011,the plot have no seedlingemergence, until March15found that some seedling emergence, seedlingregeneration was seedlings.②seedlings incidence: in the gap edge, the gap and thenon-gap,0-10a’s seedling emergence rates were17%,33%, and50%,10-20a’sSeedling emergence rate were48%,24%, and29%,20-30a’s seedlings rates were27%,40%, and33%,30-40a’s Seedling emergence rates were23%,46%, and31%.③seedling survival:0-10a, gaps edge and non-gap’s seedling survival rate up to50%,non-gap’s seedling survival rate of up to60%,10-20a and20-30a, gap edge’s seedlingsurvival up to50%,30-40a, gap’s seedling survival up to80%.④seedlings height: thegap, the gap edge and the non-forest gap,0-10a’s average seedling height to6.64cm,4.60cm and5.39cm,10-20a’s seedlings average height, respectively, for the6.67cm,10.94cm and5.03cm,20-30a’s average seedling height was10.88cm,7.50cm and4.39cm,30-40a’s average seedling height to8.86cm,11.92cm and4.47cm. |
